​The Region V Association of the American Association of Community Theatre brings together community theatres from Iowa, Kansa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota for the biennial regional theatre festival. It also facilitates and assists with the interaction of community theatres throughout the region.

Region V AACTFest '25

​

Minnesota State Festival (MACT*Fest): March 7-9, 2025 at The Depot Theatre in Duluth.

Iowa State Festival: March 7-9, 2025 at the BrickStreet Theatre in Forest City.

Kansas State Festival:  March 22, 2025 at Theatre Lawrence.

Region V AACTFest: April 4-6, 2025 in Newton, Iowa.

AACTFest: June 25-28, 2025 in Des Moines, Iowa

Representing Region V at AACTFest 2025 will be:

Absolute Theatre of Rochester, MN with "Forever Plaid" and

The Des Moines Playhouse of Des Moines, IA with "Men on Boats"

AACT has announced that AACTFest 2027 will be at 

the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester, MN.
